Blythe has a unique understanding of all perspectives within the criminal justice system. She has worked as both a criminal defense attorney and a prosecutor. She has clerked for a federal judge. These experiences have given her a keen understanding of the needs and viewpoints of everyone in the criminal justice system.
As an attorney, Blythe has written hundreds of legal briefs. She has appeared in and had numerous published decisions in the California Supreme Court, the California Court of Appeal, the United States District Court, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She has worked on every kind of case, from juvenile crimes to capital murder (death penalty), from gang crimes and domestic violence to fraud and political corruption, from rape and sexual molestation to antitrust and environmental crimes.
